Achieving financial freedom has been a widely discussed topic among the younger demographics. How can we introduce a feature on DBS banking app that could help calculate emergency funds? How can we trigger self-reflection among our viewers on their current financial planning? 

Additionally, financial literacy is often a challenging topic to tackle as it tends to be complex – how do we address this topic in a way that would be compelling and engaging for youth today?

The Campaign

Following the success of How I Know, Nuggets by Viddsee hit the streets to engage our viewers with an intriguing question – Do you know what is F-U money? Are you able to quit without a job? Do you have an emergency fund? 

In narrow terms, F-U money refers to the amount of money an individual have saved up where they feel comfortable to quit their job. 

Participants were also introduced to a feature on DBS banking app that will help to calculate their F-U money. 

Targeted primarily to the younger demographics, the campaign released a TikTok exclusive content & a social media contest.

The full video of F-U Money successfully reached out to its target audience with over 92.7% of viewers coming in from Singapore. Additionally, it has secured a healthy viewership of more than 20% for those under 18

An Effective Campaign To Generate Conversations
