Associate/Director, Commercial & Partnerships

About the role

We’re looking for an Associate/Director, Commercial & Partnerships to be responsible for driving sales in Singapore and delivering revenue growth to meet annual targets. They will manage both client relationships to build Viddsee’s brand and capabilities in the market and seek new revenue.

You will play a pivotal role in supporting our Head of Commercial, to optimize new business opportunities, retain and up-sell business. Successful candidates will be considered for either Associate Director or Director position, commensurate with experience.

Your responsibilities:

  • Be a representative of our Mission, Vision and Core Values
  • Proactively contact clients (both within your network of known contacts and initiate fresh leads) and
  • Work with creative and marketing teams to drive new business pitchesmaximise client retention with existing clients
  • Work closely with our Studio and Marketing team to assist in coming up with integrated strategy solutions for clients
  • Understand a wide range of clients’ needs, strategies and drivers of their businesses, and translate business problems into digital strategies and solutions
  • Package our branded entertainment, sponsorships and our marketing solution from our platform and community to clients
  • Plan and drive towards meeting revenue goals, building pipelines to pave towards quarterly goals

Key Requirements:

  • Have 4 to 8 years of sales experience, preferably in the media/film industry
  • Have a strong network to brands and agencies
  • Have a hunger to close deals and drive revenue goals
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative to identify potential clients and create meeting and pitch opportunities
  • Proven ability to organically grow accounts by creating great relationships, understanding customer needs and banding resources for success
  • Bring a level of understanding for content storytelling in order to initiate ideas that connect brands to existing and bespoke content creation
  • Strong negotiation, influencing skills and an ability to persuade at all levels of an agency or client
  • Ability to think on your feet and ideate on the spot as opportunities develop fast
  • A team player that will enjoy working with other highly talented people who are on a mission to build this business
