Senior Manager / Associate Director, Commercial & Partnerships (Social Media)

About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Manager / Associate Director, Commercial & Partnerships (Social Media) whose main focus is to be responsible for driving branded content business development in Singapore and delivering revenue growth to meet annual targets. You will also manage client relationships and play a role in strategising Viddsee’s brand and capabilities in the market and for new commercial opportunities.

You will play a pivotal role in supporting our Commercial & Partnerships Lead, to optimize new business opportunities, retain and up-sell business. You should have a background in social media marketing and/or online content to be able to leverage Viddsee’s full suite of branded solutions.

Your responsibilities:

  • Be a representative of our Mission, Vision and Core Values
  • Main responsibility is to proactively drive business development in branded content solutions to meet annual targets 
  • Work with creative and marketing teams to drive new business pitches
  • Maximise client retention with existing clients
  • Work closely with our Studio and Marketing team to assist in coming up with integrated strategy solutions for clients
  • Understand a wide range of clients’ needs, strategies and drivers of their businesses, and translate business problems into digital strategies and solutions
  • Package our branded entertainment and marketing solutions from our platform and community to clients
  • Plan and drive towards meeting revenue goals, building pipelines to pave towards quarterly goals

Key Requirements:

  • Have 4 to 8 years of business development experience, preferably with social content marketing and/or media/film background
  • Proven ability to organically grow accounts and close deals
  • Have a strong network to brands and agencies
  • Have a hunger to close deals and drive revenue goals
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative to identify potential clients and create profitable business opportunities
  • Belief in the potential of content storytelling in order to initiate ideas that connect brands to existing and bespoke content solutions that leverage Viddsee’s ecosystem
  • Strong negotiation, influencing skills and an ability to persuade at all levels of an agency or client
  • Ability to think on your feet and ideate on the spot as opportunities develop fast
  • A team player who will enjoy working with other highly talented people who are on a mission to build this business
