How do we raise awareness and support for women and families who may be suffering in silence? The campaign should aim to expand the perception of empowered women and highlight the different support channels available within the community.

The campaign leverages a Viddsee Originals series, Solidarity, that serves to conversation and encouraging vulnerable women and their families to speak up and seek help. Through powerful storytelling and engaging content, the campaign seeks to change societal perceptions, raise awareness and support for various groups of women in Singapore

Solidarity is a narrative short film anthology centred on 5 women-centric causes, directed by 5 female filmmakers. Through these stories, we see how women with a platform for their voices to be heard can support and uplift other women who do not have the same opportunities. 

End tags were added to each of the full films and video marketing assets.

An Integrated Campaign across Multiple Content Formats and Platforms

Adapting into Compelling Vertical Stories for TikTok

We posted vertical cuts of the 5 short films on TikTok (@viddsee) which gained us over 1 million views. 

Episode 4 — After Still, performed the best with over 380,00 views and over 19,000 engagement

A One-Stop Campaign Resource

The site included all Solidarity content, charachter profiles in the series, Directors’ statements, resources to seek help and pledges. The microsite brought in over 9,000 users.

It provided details on MSF’s Valentine Day activation — and hosted their pledges. The pledge page successfully collected 950 pledges.

Engaging the Audience in Meaningful Conversations

The contest posts were posted on Instagram and TikTok.The contest received over 40 entries reflecting various issues faced by women in today’s society – from workplace harassment to toxic romantic relationships.

Fostering Empowerment in our Audience

The dialogue session held with 2 of the Solidarity filmmakers, Alicia Yeoh and Nuryn Adryana, and Mdm Zaharah from Casa Raudha, received comments reflecting users’ opinions on the issue. 

These videos posted on TikTok and YouTube have performed well gaining over 70,000 views.

Extending the Campaign into Various content Formats for Valentine's Day

We posted extended content on Instagram and TikTok using our  alternative social channel – Nuggets by Viddsee.

We produced an animated retelling of one of the exhibits on Museum of Broken Women and created a new cut of our existing Nuggets title – What’s Left Unsaid: Domestic Violence.
